This customized boot camp is guaranteed to equip public school international teachers with strategies aimed at teaching and motivating students for positive academic achievements. Our sessions are designed to take the participants into the world of today’s students by demonstrating best practical practices for culturally responsive instruction, classroom management, effective communication strategies, cultural exchange, and social and emotional teaching and learning. Our professional development activities are designed to address students' teaching, engagement, and specific learning needs. Our four-week boot camp residence totaling 40 hours of contact hours, whereby, participants will gain valuable skills and strategies geared towards teaching and learning. 

The STEM Boot Camp is available to all students interested in STEM. This intensive 4 weekend-long virtual camp welcomes incoming students with lab experiences, exam preparation, and lectures by The Educational Research Group faculty. Students attend advising and career sessions.  The Boot Camp has two available tracks: STEM logistics and math/physical sciences/engineering. Note that these tracks are appropriate for students interested in science, math, and engineering majors, not just those in biology, chemistry, or mathematics.

Our main goal is to help our clients to develop culturally sensitive teaching, learning, and communication strategies for faculty and staff who continue to encounter problems attempting to motivate and negotiate teaching and learning with members of the ever-growing hip-hop generation of college students. We understand that effective communication is one of the missing variables that continue to contribute to poor student performance. Our research has afforded us the opportunity to hypothesize that poor effective communication equals poor outcomes and performance.  

The Educational Research Group offers consulting services in classroom management by providing teaching and training, mentoring, and proofreading services to universities, academics, and university-level students. Drawing on a combined experience of over thirty years as a successful academic. The two principal consultants’ areas of expertise comprise higher education professional development, postgraduate research skills, and academic writing. We provide a comprehensive array of courses, workshops, and individualized mentoring sessions in these areas. Our services are currently only offered online.
